Review by David Hughes

Big Al Sears' album Chicken Walk So Glad is a delightful collection of blues and jazz tracks that showcase the saxophonist's virtuosity and flair. The album features a mix of original compositions and covers, all of which are played with impeccable skill and passion.

The title track, "Chicken Walk," is a rollicking blues number that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Sears' saxophone playing is sharp and soulful, and the rhythm section provides a solid foundation for the song's infectious groove.

Other standout tracks include "Swingin' Shepherd Blues," a lively jazz tune that features some impressive solo work from Sears, and "Searsy's Blues," a slow-burning blues ballad that highlights the saxophonist's ability to convey emotion through his playing.
