Bob Dylan's 1962 album, John Birch Society Blues, is a satirical masterpiece that skewers the far-right political organization of the same name. With his trademark wit and wordplay, Dylan delivers a series of biting critiques of the JBS and its members, who he portrays as paranoid and delusional.

The album's title track is a standout, with Dylan's sardonic vocals and acoustic guitar accompanied by a jaunty harmonica. Other highlights include "Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues," which features Dylan's clever rhymes and absurd scenarios, and "Ballad of the Gliding Swan," a surreal and dreamlike tune.
