Review by SCM Global

The Crash Crew's self-titled album is a classic in the world of hip-hop. Released in 1984, the album features the group's signature style, which blends funk, soul, and rap to create a sound that is both energetic and infectious.

The album's standout tracks include "We Want to Rock," "High Power Rap," and "Breaking Bells (Take Me to the Mardi Gras)," which features a sample from the classic Bob James track. The group's rhymes are tight and their beats are funky, making this album a must-listen for any hip-hop fan.

What sets the Crash Crew apart from other rap groups of the time is their ability to seamlessly blend different musical styles into their tracks. They were pioneers in the genre, and their influence can still be heard in the music of today's hip-hop artists.

Does Anyone Have The Vocal Version Of This??? They Use To Play It On WHBI In New York Late Summer '82. It's Been Said It Was A Leaked Studio Tape And The Rhymes They Said Were Later Used On "We Are Known As Emcees" Only Difference Is They Start Off Saying "We Got The Beat That Can Make You Dance, Clap Ya Hands,Clap Ya Hands" Acapella Before The Drum Roll.

Yessss. This was my shit!! I was 12. My mom gave me 60 dollars. I went record shopping and this was one of them. I brought Wild Style soundtrack. Run DMC 1st album. And alot of 12 inch singles to scratch on the turntables. I was 12 with a 30 year old mind. What 12 year old In 2021 can adapt to the music like me instead of fuckin wit the gunz. I am hip hop.
